Use this simple tool to easily find a product/service in few clicks. a. Primary Search Box - Just type the Product/Service "Name" and it will display in drop-down if it is on the website. Click on the "Product/Service" in the drop list and it will take you to the profile page. b. Applications - Searching for a particular product/service related to a drone application, then select one. c. Country - Search by country, then select one. Click Search. d. Service - Searching for a particular Product/Service classified under our 7 Main Category, then select one.Click Search. e. Category - First Select "Service". Then under that "Category" will show the list under that "Service", select one.Click Search. f. Sub Category - First Select "Service" and "Category". How can I get more accurate search results?

You can use the Primary Search Box or Explore by Application to guide you to a specific listing page of your interest. Then you can use all the Filter Panel which will propose filters unique to the product/service category.

Is it possible to do a "Country" specific search ?

Yes, you can use the "Primary Search Box" and select the country of your choice and search. Or you can use the filter panel on the listing page, where under "Parent" you have "country filter".

Where can I see the history of "Quote Request" ?

You are signed in, go to your signed in account menu on top right, click on the option "Quote Request".

How to add a product profile or a blog to my "Favorite Page" ?

You have to be signed in to add a product/blog to your "Favorite Page". Just select by clicking on the "Heart Icon" you see on product profiles or blogs to add it to your favorite page. To remove a product or blog from your favorite page, deselect by clicking on the "Heart Icon" again.

Is it possible to "Compare" product profiles?

Yes, it is possible to compare product profiles on Beyond Sky. You have to be signed in to use this feature. On a product profile page, you click on the "Compare Icon" to add a product to be compared, then you a pop up will open showing that product. Click on "Continue" to browse other products in the same category which you want to add and compare. Maximum of 3 products can be compared at any given time.

Description

Nathanel Apter, the founder of UASolutions worked for the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) after obtaining a Master in mechanical engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne.

At the FOCA, he established the policies and processes underlying the SORA Evaluation. He has contributed in establishing regulatory policies for drones in the context of the SORA as for example for the handling of dangerous goods, for drone swarms, for occurence reporting, for ground risk evaluation, for change management and for many others regulatory topics.

The course outline is:

Introduction to the EU Regulation: In this course part, the open, specific, and certified categories will be introduced. The class marking in the Open category will be explained and the transition to the EU law will be further looked into. The concepts of dangerous goods, cross-border operations and the LUC will be introduced.
The SORA Methodology: The applicability of the SORA methodology will be explained and following notions will be introduced: the risk-based approach, the ConOps, the standard scenarios, the pre-defined risk assessments, the iterative SORA process, the SAIL, and change management.
Definitions: Some important defintions for the SORA will be introduced as: the roles and responsabilities, Visual Line of Sight and Beyond, the SORA semantic model, robustness levels, the distinction between Integrity and Assurance, levels of Automation, the difference between safety and reliability.
The ground risk: The ground risk determination will be explained. We will also look in more depth at ground risk mitigations as parachutes, sheltering and other mitigations.
The air risk: The air risk determination will be further looked into. Strategic and Tactical Mitigations to the air risk will be explained.
The SAIL determination and the Operational Safety Objectives: The determination of the Operational Safety Objectives and the requirement compliance will be part of this course chapter.
Adajcent Areas and Containment: The determination of adajcent areas and airspaces will be performed and containment requirements will be explained.
